unless the coach can hop in pommer's uni and finish his scoring chance's for him how will it help?? he had numerous high quality chance's last year that's not bad coaching.. the wild failed a ton of high quality chance's last year.. it's the coach's job to get players those opportunities, which they did, and players to score which they didn't.. i like how torch benched guys and moved guys up.. if your not capitalising on the opportunities bring up the next guy.. i'd like fletch to pick up a young guy that can shoot via trade for one of the D and give pommer's opportunities to him..

Caps have had a few of these lulls this season, and they're really not even playing bad, but they are going up against the hottest team and the hottest goalie in the league right now. As I've said, Boudreau is a good coach who's track record speaks for itself, the good and the bad.

Im certain Boudreau could come in and get this team a great regular season record... but simply based on his track record, there is no indicator that he CAN or WILL get them any further than Lemaire, Yeo or Torchetti have. Nothing about his pedigree is screaming Stanley cup finals for the Wild.

But nothing about the construction of the Wild screams SCF either and thats my point. BB has had a lot of kids blossom under him and I would like to see what he could do with someone like Zucker, Nino and Coyle. This team as constructed isnt making past the second round for at least the next two years...

Failed as in didn't win the Cup? Because look how long it took Quinnville to win his first one... The FACT is he consistently gets good to great performances out of his teams. Game 7's are a crap shoot. He's had bad luck, but if you look at what's happening to the Caps again you'll see it probably wasn't BB. Or is that too much logic for you?
